Free mortgage and protection services for essential workers

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been impressed and inspired by the incredible efforts of people in the UK, especially our doctors, nurses and carers, who are looking after those who are vulnerable or already affected during such a challenging time. Our thanks also go to other essential workers like teachers who are doing their utmost to help school children remotely and others doing equally crucial work, keeping food on our tables and keeping the country running.

We want to play our part by supporting our essential worker community with the things that we believe will really make a difference, so we’re launching our ‘Here to Help’ campaign.

This means that for the next six months, we are offering all of our existing and new essential worker customers free mortgage and protection services*.

In addition, we are pleased to offer new flexible appointments, outside of standard working hours, to all essential workers. Our team will now be available to existing and new essential worker customers at any time, day or night, for a phone call or a virtual appointment.

We understand that most people will be looking for ways to protect their income, as well as the health and wellbeing of their families, over the coming weeks and months.

Our team is here to help anyone who is looking for advice or guidance on any of the measures announced by the government to provide financial support. Take a look at our blog too, which highlights the financial life admin we believe you should be prioritising at the moment: LINK.

A heartfelt thank you from the Mortgage Light team to everyone working so hard to tackle the challenges we are facing across the country.

*We will be providing free mortgage and protection services to essential workers. This includes all NHS staff, other members of the emergency services, council, care and social workers, supermarket and food distribution staff.
